Business Intelligence Developer

Teqware is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Developer who will develop dashboards and operational reports using

Position Functions or Responsibilities

• DoD Secret Clearance Required – Clearance will be verified prior to interview
• Bachelors Degree or 10 years of software development experience as a business intelligence developer
• 4+ years of QlikView experience / Documented QlikView training
• Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Strong understanding of SQL / Ability to write custom SQL statements
• Experience with at least one other business intelligence tool including SAP BusinessObjects, OBIEE, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Tableau, WebFocus, and/or Crystal Reports

Position Functions or Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate information provided by customers and staff
• Play a central role in aligning the needs of business units with the capabilities delivered by information technology
• Work to elicit the actual needs of the stakeholders and requestors and to define the project scope and objectives
• Work to facilitate communication between organizational units
• Write unambiguous, verified requirements to a testable level (functional and non-functional requirements)
• Modeling processes using various notation (Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Business Process Modeling Notation, Workflows, Swim lanes)
• Must have 6+ years of relevant Finance/Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Treasury domain business work experience.
• A BS/BA degree. If they don’t have a Bachelor’s degree, 2 years of work experience is equal to 1 year of schooling
• Financial, Capital Markets or Banking Operations experience
• Experience in SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), General Ledger (GL), Sub Ledger (SL), and Materials Management (MM)
